:: Loja City, “Centinela del Sur” ::
 
Located in a valley in the southern part of Ecuador, 2.100 meters above sea level (6.800 feet), surrounded by mountains and two rivers Zamora and Malacatos, Loja city is a combination of unique province quietness and city agitation.
 

Loja has become a touristic attraction because of the beautiful architecture of its historic downtown, with narrow streets, houses, which facades have been painted with strong colors that call the attention of visitors.

The pure air that is breathed in this city is another fact that attract visitors. Loja counts with many parks, that gives fifteen square meters of green space to each inhabitant of this city, for this reason it has been declared as an ecological model to the World...
